Sister Mónica Garcia, originally from Colombia and a member of the Dominican Sisters of Charity of the Presentation, joined St. Peter School in 2021 as the PreK-Grade 8 Spanish teacher. For over three decades, Sister Mónica has dedicated her life to teaching children and adults in Colombia, South Korea, and the United States. Most recently, she taught Spanish and Religion at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Landover Hills, Md.
